Canon S2IS P&S..man I never use it..I hate it..LOL the shutter delay, the noise, YUCK...I couldnt ever go out and use a P&S

Yea i take it a little more then my fishy tank...I got about 4grand sitting there as of now..So i am making myself feel good and bragging a little...HAHAHAHAHA

lol I am one of those people always asking what kind of camera you have

I have a Fuji s9100 and cannot use it for squat. I just can't figure it out, lol. Brand New.
I just went to Sam's club and bought a Canon sd1000 and LOVE it. Maybe I am just a point and shoot noob,

That could be true, but is there more money in that camera setup than your saltwater tank(s)?

not even close, between my three marine tanks I probably have double that tied up in my saltwater tanks, not to mention my FW tanks and my reptiles and birds and mammals..... one of my dogs alone is worth about 1,800$
Its still a really sweet camera setup. but heck I'm still psyched about my nikkon S50 that I just got.

honestly, it does make me a couple bucks here and there but not nearly as much as I put into it. though my gF gave me permisssion to refit the garage and turn it into a full out propagation setup/aquacultured coral sales place. I'm still hammering out the details and I dont see any profits happening for the next 5+ years. Its all ReefForBrains fault, one mention of a move to california and she wants me to set up shop right here.... now I just need capitol.

I love the 30D I have it with a Tameron lenz works great. I just need to get the battery pack and the extra flash unit. Cool stuff.

I wont have this 30D much longer..canon just released the 40D
it now has Cross hair sensor for AF on all nine points for any lens 5.6 and lower and the center point now has a diagonal sensor for 2.8 or faster lens. Plus the 6.5fps, DIGICIII, better noise control, larger buffer. Mainly what got me sold on the new body is the better focus system and th 14bit color for more dynamic range

i want to be a pro photographer (for a second job) unfortunately every thing is so expensive.... i want to get the olympus e-500 dual lens kit it comes with the zukio 14-45mm and 40-150mm lenses... once i get a job that and my car are the first things on the list
