Exhausted and confused

Okay, I have put in a flame angel in my tank...after 3 weeks it died of ich because I couldn't catch it to treat it. Okay, all of my other fish were never effected by the ich. I have recently put in a coral beauty that has not eaten in four days. He does pick off of the rocks but ignores everything I put in the tank. I just noticed he has 3 dots on him that look like ich. So now I have to watch him die too. I cant catch him because of the live rock and coral and can't obviously do hypo on display tank. What are my options and why do some fish not get ich and some do even after I have quarantined them? Someone please help. Thanks.

If you don't remove the fish to a QT, there is a good chance that all your fish will get infected. You really have to setup a quarantine tank and quarantine all new fish before they ever go into the display. You may want to take a look at the FAQ Thread at the top of this forum. Some fish may have a stronger immunity to ich, but in a closed system where fish are present, ich will always have the upper hand. If you want to learn more about this parasite, there is also a post in the FAQ Thread about ich.
