What keeps eating my skunk shrimp?
Purple tang
Naso tang
Three stripe damsel
Blue reef damsel
Marine Betta
Purple lobster
Coral banded shrimp
or is it the Harlequin shrimp (he only eats starfish though)...
I've had a small, medium, and large skunk shrimp-
I think its the Marine Betta but not sure. I also have a White Sebae Anemone that eats frozen fish.. :notsure:

no i'm not sure what the deal is. My other 2 shrimp have been in the tank for about 2 months and are doing fine. its just skunk shrimp? i put them in the tank and the next day their gone?

the ones that only eat starfish are Haraquin shrimp.
my first guess would be the betta.
how big are your damsels and how small are the shrimp?

i would put money on either the betta or the lobster. i wouldn't say the coral banded shrimp only because i had a huge one in with cleaner shrimp and they lived together for a year until i bought a piece of live rock with a mantis shrimp on it
, but i have also heard of people saying their purple tangs eat their shrimp as well, but i think this is few and far between.

If its only one species that gets eaten you can rule out the Betta, as it would have eaten the Harliquen as well.
My money is on the CBS, as they don't like other shrimp.
