BiColor Angel
I'm in the process of adding some fish to my 130 reef.
I currently have a Cardinal, Gramma and two Clarki Clowns. I want to add this Angel among other things.
Does anyone have experience with this fish?
Any concerns?
SF.com rates this fish as moderate care. I typically go with the easy care fish (lifes short). This would be my first outside of easy care.
Any advice would be appreciated and used.
Thanks

I also plan on getting one for my 125. From what I have read they are very fragile fish and need perfect water parameters and fed a healthy diet with lots of greens. If you have those with no other fish bothering it I think you should be fine. Also make sure you have plenty of LR so it can hide and pick at algea all its wants.

My friend picked one up a couple of months back. It appears to be a healthy easy keeper in his reef, but very shy and timid. It keeps well hidden within the many caves of his tank.

Well, I have the big tank, lots of rock. I also change 30 gallons a week, so my tank is fairly easy to keep nice and good parameters. I think that I'll try the fish. My one concern is that my Royal Gramma basslet can be a bully. That is why I wanted to bring in 2" to 4" fish.

I have a bicolor and I love him. Beautiful fish! Have to warn you though they can get very territorial. I added mine last in my 30 gal that had 4 other fish. 2 of the fish jumped and the other was a high-fin so they never crossed paths. I tried to add a tomato a couple weeks later and my bi-color gave it hell. I had to re-do all the rock work and add some chromis to divert his attention. Everything is good now! But this could be a pain in the backside in a big tank!
Good luck!
