a puffer i had for 15years just passed away on me and i want to get back into keeping anemones. i've had condi's,curlyqs, flower anemones, bubble tips, antler anemones, and now years ago i picked up some wartlet anemones.
the tank i have open is a 20g high. all my small nano tanks for years i have been growing polpys of all sorts, frogspawn etc. they have been doing good for years only under URI 15watt bulbs. now what is the lowerst light anemone that would host a clownfish in my 20gal. would two 15watt URI bulbs be enough with the depth compared to my 10 gal nano's ? thanks

I've had over 6 years experience with anemones, both condy and bubble tips, I've got a whole ton of book learing on it as well as internet reading, from both experts like Joyce Wilkerson and Daphne Fautin, and many other experienced sources. So in my opinion regarding keeping a hosting anemone under only 30 watts of light, please don't do it. As these are photo synthetic creatures and need more light than you are providing, I would be afraid that you would not be able to keep one alive.
It is however your tank, and only my opinion, do as you wish.

you should be running around 4watts a gallon with most anemones for good health (If i can recall correctly). 30watts on a 20 gal will cause the anemone to swell up and eventually die; even if it does last a month or two it wont be healthy and visually appealing.
