hi im new to this paige just thiught i'd share my encounter withyou i had an old heater that thought had a small cut in wire used it to heat water in bucket for water changes for long time last night heating water and it started to smoke went to unplug and it explode and tore open 5gal bucket like nothing anybody ever heard of this I"ll never keep bad heater again.
