Please, could you say a little prayer for a child on the other side of the world.
Baby NINI was born in china with TGA (transposition of the great arteries). A major heart defect. She was abandoned by her birth mother.
She has been adopted, and her new mommy is in China to bring her home. She has developed pheumonia and is in the hospital not doing very well. They are trying to get an emergancy transport to the US. They will land in CA and take the baby to Stanford for emergancy heart surgury. Please pray they can get her here in time.

Wow. Pneumonia for a TGA patient is not good news at all. I think we all need to say a quick "please" tonight for this little one.

Not personally, but they are with my agency, and we are like a family.
Her new mommy is a nurse, so that is a good thing.

She is doing a little better, though still critical. They have given her a feeding tube so she dosent waste energy feeding.

Its so sad to hear the little ones getting off to such a ruff start. Certainly will pray for her and all those around her.

Just wanted to update a little. NINI made it to the US. An ambulance picked her up at the airport and took her straight to children's hospital at Stanford. Keep her in your thoughts in the days to come while they get ready for surgery.
