extremely high ph...

I just tested my tank yesterday to find out my ph level is around 8.6+.
Other params are:
ph stated above
alk 3.0
calc 400
sal 1.026
amon 0
ate 10
ite 0
I run a continous drip of kalk for top off. My alk was kind of low around 2.0 so i raised it to the 3 level over a period of a week. What else may be contributing to the high ph?

The kalk itself may be the source of you elevated PH....how much are you adding and how quickly? Information on the volume of your system and the amount of kalk top-off you add daily would help. Kalk PH runs considerably higher(10+) than our systems(8.1-8.3)....looking at the amount and rate of your Kalk top-off may be a good place to start figuring what the source of your problem is.
