Eye Discoloration (yellow tang)

My yellow tang has developed a whitish film over one of its eyes. Does anyone know what it is or what I need to do about it?

its most likely cloud eye..if its really mild, theres a good chance that itll heal by itself..if its really bad, you should take it out and quarantine it.

I had a porcupine puffer that had this as well. I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was a disease. I immediately put him into a hospital tank and doped him up with medicine. This experience is what introduced me to UV sterilizers as my other fish got sick and died before I could even get them out.

Thanks for the info. but do you all think that I should try to find some type of medication for it or just take him out and put in another Q tank?

Unless its a fish only tank, with no live rock, i wouldnt put any medication in my tank..
