Why is the site restricting my photo to a max of 500 by 500? I could see photos uploaded with more than 2000 by 2000 resolution!!!!

people can post larger photos by uploading them to photobucket then just linking the image. since the photo is hosted by some one other than SWF.com it gets by the automatic size restriction. wont matter the size though, what ever photos win are going to get resized anyways. I just size mine before hand because I hate wasting time uploading everything to photobucket.
