Whats the scientific name of that fish? Ive seen him at different websites and he seems to have different scientific names too... anywho... looked him up on fishbase, here is a nicer pic of a male of that species:
If you guys know of a goood place to get these online let me know @ markdosal@gmail.com. Id get them at this site but theyre (the ones i want anywho) out of stock....
also you can keep these in small tanks too... 20 gal is enough for one of em.. maybe even 2.. and they dont grow much at all either.... for 75 gal u can probably get one of the bigger and cooler wrasses tho...
Don't know online..my lfs guy just happened to have him..my lucky day. I'll keep my eyes open. By the by, mines a male, also, just not extended in photo. He doesn't do that often.
Id like to assume you need a female for him to be like that often.... my LFS says they can order one for me, problem is findin the real scientific name for it....
That looks like it COULD be a male Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis , aka the Social Wrasse or Longfin Fairy Wrasse. Heres a pic of one. Nice fish
This thread was photos of different wrasse's in Fish Photography, back in May, I think.
