"fake" plants

I have a 12 gallon Nano tank with 2 small damsels, 2 snails, a emrald crab, two hermit crabs, and (Gasp) a Choc. Chip Starfish. The "kit" came with two fake sea plants that all they do is collect nasty. Do I need them to give the fish somewhere to hide, or can I dump them?

IMO...... Dump them.

do you have anything else in there like rock? if not id say keep them because the fish need somewhere to hide

just to generally hidelol. just somewhere so that they arent always in the open and being stared at. also someplace just to kinda "hang out" in, sleep, etc. some of my fish are real shy and need somewhere to hide .

Find a nice spot for the fake plants in your trash
