Hi all,
I need some wisdom...
I have a 60 gal. reef tank and purchased two false percula's about 1 month ago. They had been getting along great until I introduced a green carpet anemone last week. At first, they started quarelling over who would get to be the "king(or queen) of the anemone" and now, one of them(I'm asuming the female), spends her time in the carpet and the other is relegated to living in the back corner of the tank.
If the one in the back of the tank attempts to relocate, he is immediately trounced on by the dominant clown.
So... I was considering purchasing either another type of anemone to host the non-dominant clown or I was thinking perhaps a hairy mushroom would suffice. I hate seeing him stuck in the back of the tank(nothing worse than being "whipped")
Any thoughts? Do you think the dominant clown would allow the other to play in a spot on the opposite side of the tank?
Thanks in advance for your insight.
Steve
