what was the reason for adding it in the first place?
here is a good rule of thumb with saltwater tanks IF YOU CAN'T TEST FOR IT DONT ADD IT. here is the reason for that statement there are some chemicals that contain heavy metals and other chemicals that will build up in a tank as the build up alot of them can and do become toxic overtime and will lead to a lot of problems down the road. another reason is that some products contain fillers the have phosphates and other chemicals that can cause massive algae blooms.
