Fan placement in canopy

I need to set up fans in my canopy and am looking for opinions on the best way to do it. I have 4 holes in the top of the canopy that I will be using. Would you put 4 fans in, pushing the cool air towards the water? Or would you face 2 fans down and 2 fans up, to create more circulation of the air?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are there any other vents in the canopy? If there is I would have them all point in... That way they will last longer because you won’t have the salt getting at it...

There are no other vents in the canopy, other than the 4 holes and the open back.

Well if the back is open I would have them all go down... it will find its way out and you still will have cold air going in. what size is the tank? I only have two fans on my 210 and that is with three 400w MH in there. So you might find that you only need two or three...

I have a 75 gallon w/2 250watt mh lights and I have 2 fans on top that blow out, so they suck the hot air out, then I have a fan on each side that blow air in accross the water, and I have great success.
