Hey everybody, im recovering from an algae problem and have turned things around. My levels seem to be testing great and I'm ready to start growing more coral. As of now i have 3 ricordea heads, and 2 full heads of duncan coral..I run a 48 watt hoT5 in my 20 gallon aquarium with 2 powerheads (240 gph each). I'm looking for some fast growing coral that I could add to my tank. Hammer, torch, frogspawn? Give me your thoughts, thanks to all :)

Softies are usually the fastest growing corals, especially palys as a general rule. Kenya tree, Xenia and GSP all grow like weeds.
Torch Coral, Acans, Frogspawn, Duncans and favia grow well when fed daily.

yellow polyps in particular seem to grow, move, spread quickly! They like the light too.....they are like lil anemones imo! Kool stuff!
+1 on the kenya, torch, frogspawns and such!
I pass on the GSP cuz i hear they can over run the tank and grow everywhere!
Daisys imoe are growing crazy!

Alright, thanks. Would there be any harm if I were to feed them more that 2 or 3 times a week?

I have a 4 inch clump of GSP and I like them... if you want to have a rock to give the appearence of a grassy hill (like the terrain from the movie Braveheart) I recommend them... pluss the extras that spread can be traded.

I moved the duncan coral from my 90 gallon to my 20 gallon and in 3 days it has grown 2 extra heads!!! (Obviously not the size of the previous heads) but i didn't know that coral grew that fast!!
