Okay,
I have recently started my tank back up after my move to GA...I have a few questions about my cycling...
To start this off...I have 40lbs of live sand and 20 lbs of dead sand....I also have about 60lbs of LR...Pretty fresh, had all sorts of stuff on it when I received the box from Fiji....I don't know if that is good or not????
anyways...My parameters are
Nitrate: .25
Nitrite: 1
Amonia: 2
temp: 75
salinity: normal...
how long should my cycle take....(of course I am excited to get rock n' rollin' on it....) is their anything I can do to speed the cycle up without adding chemicals to the tank?
Please let me know if you ahve any advice????

Fiji live rock is great. Lots of good colors like pink and reds. The cycle usualy takes around a month long. To speed it up ad in a dead cocktail shrimp from a grocery store and plop it in the tank. This will give all the good bacteria a decent food source. Keep this in the tank until it is fully cycled. Everything is still pretty high right now, but will fluctuate over the course of the cycling process. Hope that helped and if you got any other questions just post em up.:D
