Favorite eel?

I'm considering adding an eel to my 75 and want to know what kind you guys think is the best? And no hawaiian dragon eels or tessalates...i'm a poor college kid keep in mind. Thanks.

without a doubt i vote for a snowflake...
just make sure your tank is covered VERY well to avoid any suicide attempts...

my favorite eel is a tesselata, but you said you dont have the money for one, or the size tank. i would actually go with a goldentail if you can shell out 80 bucks. they are alot like a snowflake in terms of care and feeding, etc. but if you cant do that you can always go with a snowflake, chainlink, or zebra. bo

My vote would be for the snowflake, I have a 14in one, great fish, very active gets along with everyone in the tank, also very hardy. I don't think you can go wrong with a snowflake. Good Luck

Ya, snowflakes are great. But another great eel is a chainlink eel, I have one and hes great!

Chalk another one up for the snowflake. Best looking one there is for that price range.
