Just wondering which Lion was most favored, and why.
Volitan Lionfish
Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish
Dwarf/Zebra Lionfish
Antennata Lionfish
Radiata Lionfish
Russell's Lionfish

They all tend to have great "pet" personalities.
I'd say the dwarfs, because they can be put in small or large aquariums. Unfortunately though the Fu Manchu tends to have a bad reputation for taking to eating frozen foods.
Overall, probably the Volitan is the "most favored" because it tends to be the most available and it is the cliche Lionfish.

Supposedly Zebra's are hard to keep too, but mainly because of poor shipping.

I like weird and/or fish with attitude. If my tank were larger I would get a Radiatan. I LOVE the fu manchu but am not willing to pay top dollar for a fish that is not likely to live. I will be getting a fuzzy. I am going to look long and hard or a unique one.

Well I'm biased towards Volitans and Fuzzies because those are the two that I have raised (and raising). My favorite would be the Volitan though. My last Volitan was very easy to wean and had a very good tank presence as it was not shy and loved to show its fins spread wide.

my vote is with the volitan, I have 2 in my 220. tons of personality, and they "stalk" everyone who walks by the tank

Yeah, for a fuzzy I think she's pretty good looking. She has a great personality though - she knows when I'm near the tank and will swim over to where I'm at and stare out at me begging for food. She eats out of my hand so I'd say she's a well behaved lion.

Fuzzy-wuzzy was a lion! I want one sooo bad. I really want an orange-red one or yellow (yeah, right.)

That is what my hawk does. He has been in his qt for about 6 months. I moved the dt and was re-arranging eveything. The qt was next to the couch. If I was sitting on the end he would sit right there looking at me. He loves to beg. I moved him into the display tonight. I have some pics of him in the qt though. I love fish with personality!

I take my sweet time stocking. My next fish is either a fuzzy dwarf, but I have to find the perfect one, or a pair of Maroon clowns. The pair of Maroon clowns are hard to come by. I love fish with attitude!

Well I've only owned two. For Color and Looks the Radiata. For easy of feeding, and personality....can't beat the puppy dog Volitan.
But if were just going on looks. I'll say Radiata.

Which one of the Lions is hardest to take care of?
