Favorite "sample" or "remake" of an old song?

That other thread got me thinking.
What's your favorite cover of a song, or even one of those terrible "rap" songs (using sampling) that those whole board seems to loathe?

I'm not sure what my all time favorite remake is...
But I will say right now I am all about this little hip hop joint called "WhatChaGonDo" by some guy named "Kasper from the K".
He sampled the classic 80's tune "Obsession" by I believe Animotion.
No, it's lyrics don't reach that deep, but d a m n it makes you wanna dance...

most remakes are god-awful. seriously.
and the only good hip hop (96 and earlier) is what is being sampled today by these crap-rappers.
can we include remixes? if so, california love by 2pac defines remix.

Maynard does an increible remake/mashup... he sings Diary of a Madman's lyrics to The Cures Love Song and then flip flops sings Love Song to Diary of a Madmans music... its freakin brilliant!!!
