Do you often buy jerseys for back up players?
Actually yes. It gives them a slight glimmer of hope. They see me at practice during fan days and run over and sign their jersey. Everybody can love the star.
I alos have a Brian Orakpo and Doug Flutie Jersey. Throw in a few Rock cartwrights mixed in with a Stalworth Buress and I have an awesome collection.
I even just bought a #4 purple people eater.

I love how people blame just Favre for this. He would stay retired if teams didn't keep offering him 12 million dollar contracts to come play.....Had Minnesota NOT called him early on he would be retired. Had they not kept calling him he would have stuck with his decision. Hard to pass up a guaranteed 12 million......no matter how old you are......

so youre saying its NOT Favres decision??? he can easily say no im retired and move onto his career in the media... how many teams offered Young, Montana, Aikman, Marino or Elway money to come back and how many times did those guys retire... alot and ONE time...

i still havent decided whether this comment is driven from the fact that you dont like him as a person or dont like him as a player...maybe both...
personally i dont like him as a person...but as a player and me being a fan of the NFL...i think that it is going to be exciting to watch him play this year...even if he is a back up and only plays 2 or 3 snaps a game...
you have to make up your mind as to what you think about him...do you love to hate him? or do you hate to love him?
i am the latter of the two...
