Feather Duster Dilemma...

I just purchased a sweet large feather duster from my LFS but when i got home and looked at him in the bag he looks inside out!
The tube that he should be sticking his feathers out of is on the opposite side of his actual feathers.
My problem is that now the LFS is closed and is not open tomorrow.
and I am nowhere near my tank..
I am driving back to Midland (school) tomorrow.
Is it dead or is it just stressed ??
Please help..

What do you mean? Is he completely out of his tube?

dont freak these things are pretty tough
if hes out of his tube hell make another....
provide some soft substate in the tank hopefully sand and with his own saliva hell make another.
ive had my tubes look empty for weeks then all of a sudden new duster
just get him in the tank and dont panic
