feather duster goo

This morning I found my feather duster with clear goo cloud around him with a black dust stuck to it near the head of his tube. I'm not sure if he's upset or maybe trying to get it on with my other duster. I just want to make sure what he's spitting out isn't bad for the other tank mates. He was perfectly fine the other day and the water perimeters are fine (ammonia - 0, nitrates - 0, nitrites - 0, phosphates - 0, calcium - 400, pH - 7.6 (Yeah it's a little low) salinity - 1.024, temp - 80. Heres a picture of him with the lights off and on. The goo goes all the way to the rocks in a ball around him the width of a deck of cards.
