Well I just noticed that I have a feather duster growing on my hammer coral, I want to move the feather duster off the hammer so it can grow and get water flow, How can I do this with out damaging either?

What kind of shell does the feather duster have?

Not Really sure on the shell looks almost like vien on the side of the hammer, but there is a feather duster coming out of the end

If it's a hard shell, there's not really any way to take it off. Just let it be. They're pretty hardy and will probably be ok.

ok, just sucks because when the hammer is open you can't even see the duster. you can only see it when the hammer closes up
