feather duster out of cocoon

Hi had a feather duster wedge between the live rocks. It has now come out completly out of his cocoon is this normal and will he go back in?

Hi:
Nope...once hes out, he out. What he may do is find a new place to build a new tube. AS long as no one picks on him, he should be fine.
Often times they bail out of their tube when they don't like where you put them (lack of water flow, or too much water flow), or if a tankmate is harassing them

actually, do you mean that it shed it's crown (duster part) or that the entire body of the worm has come out as well?

Thats normal for the dusters to do that. it just means that they did not like the site they were in for obvious reasons like to much current,light, something annoying it, ect. i had my duster do that, cuase he had to much light, he moved to the corner of the tank.
