feather duster tube came off

My feather duster tube came off. When i tryed to move hime to a location with less water curent. Will he die?

If they dropped their crown they can recover. However if they left their tube entirely although they can recover they usually dont.

feather dusters will throw their crown when under stress. Mine just did this. He was in a really high flow area and really blowing around. I moved him someplace else, and he built a new crown, which took some time to start seeing in the tube and is doing fine.

Did he jump out of his tube or did you pull him out of it when you moved him?

sad to say but i pulled off his tube when i was trying to move him
he is fine so far

is there any slight chance of a picture? I have always wanted to see one outside of it's tube, but mine have never left.
