Feather Duster Worm

Ok this is going to be hard to explain. I have a black and white hawaiian feather duster that I've had for around 3 weeks now. I keep him inside this small cave of LR and put the opening of his tube out the entrance to it, because it faces the front of the tank and gets flow from a Maxi-Jet 600. Theres some cracks and crevices that lead inside the cave but I don't think that much flow can get into it. The left side of the cave is basically a large 10 pound piece of rock. He's buried his tube underneath this piece, and now his crown simply opens up inside the cave, where theres less flow and I can't see him. I've tried moving the front of his tube back to the original spot but he kinda attatched himself underneath the 10 pound piece. He started this about 5 days ago and has shown no signs of ditching his tube at all. Should I leave him the way he is? Would it be ok to rearrange the rock so that his crown shows out? Thanks for your help and sorry for the wall of text...

You can try to move his rock. I tried to move the rock my duster was attached to when I reaquascaped and I was very gentle. It didn't matter though b/c he ditched his tube and I had to pull him out b/c I have hermits and he'd have been a goner.

I got mine a week ago...
I try to aquascape him, but he finds his place where he wants....not that he moves around the tank, but he spins himself they way he wants.
He seems moody but healthy.
