feather duster??

I just came home from work, and one of my feather dusters lost its feather!! Its on the bottom of the tank right now....the worm is still in the tube....will it grow another feather??
Should I scoop out the feather that is not attached to the worm anymore???

Yes...it should regrow.
Go ahead and siphon it out.

yeah thats fine they will replace there crown from time to time.

Throwing their crowns can also be a sign of stress. Whenever one of my dusters throws it's crown the first thing I do is check my water.
