They're pretty easy to take care of. They're filter feeders. If your tank is new, you might want to add some zooplankton to the water (Marine Snow). Just beware that most feather dusters don't live more than a year, which LFS's neglect to tell people when then buy them.

thx. im going out to buy the marine snow today but i have noticed over the past few days i havent seen the crown come out. any idea what that means?

It may have ate something, or it's dead. More likely that it ate something. Also, they do molt their heads every once in awhile
