Will a feather duster eat frozen foods that break up and float around or do they need liquid food(mysis shrimp, marine cusine?). can they live on rock or better in sand?
Dusters are filter feeders that take nourishment from the water column. I have had them on rocks and the sand. Just don't put them in a high flow area of the tank
