feather dusters are featherless

I come downstairs this morning to find one of my feather duster's feathers floating in the tank! Does this mean it's dead? I'm going to test my water param.s now. BTW, the other feather I have is fully extended like normal, and a little baby duster is out too.

1) So I shouldn't worry about it not being able to eat?

Yeah, it will be fine. Mine have done this before, once was stress, the other time I have no idea why. It'll grow back within a month, and make sure you feed it when it does.
