Feather Dusters

My feather duster just shed. How long does it take to regrow the crown???

what is that duster do?
or what is that suppose to do?

They can grow big but they also help to filter the water.

I have several large feather dusters. They popped their tops when I first got them. I thought they all died but I found out they will do this for many different reasons. One is if they are stressed, which I guess mine were. The other is for growth purposes. They do grow back but it is a fairly slow process. Mine took between 3-6 weeks. Even then they don't come back the exact same at first. They are light colored and sometimes uneven. Don't worry though it should grow back. Just check the tube and make sure that it is still fairly stiff and that it is not deteriorating. If not your good to go just gotta wait.
