feather help!!!

I just put a featherm into my tank and today it looks like it is blowing smoke out of it?? I need to know if this is normal or harmful to my fish and tank?? Thanks for any feed back.

You probably did something to stress it out. When it thinks it's going to die it will let out eggs, which should look kind of like co

ebs. This happened to me and really made my tank look dirty all over, I even had to take my Lionfish out because the "co

ebs" were all caught up in the Lion's fins.
It's really up to you if you want to clean up the mess, but I am pretty sure your inhabitants will clean it for you.
In a couple months you should see little baby featherdusters sprouting around your tank. Congratulations.

Thanks that will be great to have little babies!! But the stuff was not real web like it was more liquid fog?? Do you think its still the eggs?? Thanks for the reply!!

Eww, liquid fog huh...
Is your tank clear now? Or is it still foggy?
If it is clear, probably eggs. Do some tests within the next week or so to keep tabs on your parameters. I don't think dusters are poisonous, but watch out if anything dies all of a sudden or if the feather dies, then ask more questions.
