I placed an order with an online for some supplies and was supposed to get it at work last Thursday. They showed up at 9am and left a sticker. My job doesnt opened till 11am. I called them up and asked if they can deliver Fri. after 11. I even called that night to make sure and they said the message was in the computer. I come to work the next day and there was no 2nd sticker on the door so I figured everything was ok. I called them after a few hours and they said it was on the truck. After a few more hours I call again and they said they deliver till 8:30pm. I call at 8 and they said the guy was there at 9:40am. I explained the problem and they said the driver went home. She also said that although she has my request was in her computer Fedex ground needs 24hrs to get to the ground fedex computer.
He should have the message by Monday she says. Today I come to work and no sticker again. While I was making a food delivery I see a Fedex Ground truck leaving town on a street no more than 4 blocks from my job at 12:15.I checked my job and no box. I called them and the connect me with the ground terminal.I told him my problem and that I saw the truck leaving town.I told him I would think the guy would rather drop off the package than come tomorrow at 9 again.He agreed.He said he will leave a message for the driver to call him back.Never heard from him.I called the online store and they said theres nothing they can do to wait for the fedex callback which never came. I called Fed EX again and chewed out some people some more.Whats the point of coming daily at 9 if you know Im not there.Ive waited long enough. I called the fish store again and they re-routed the package to my house,supposedly. She said I will have it tomorrow. I said I doubt Fed EX would do it considering how they handled the problem so far.After all it takes 24 hrs for the driver to get the message.
This is just some of the things Ive learned from this experience and some I was told by F 'D EX
1-Time requests are taken by but can/will not be carried out.
2-It take 24 hour for the driver to get info on his computer but not the customer service computer.:notsure:
3 -Fedex ground and Fedex overnite are 2 seperate people. Fedex overnite delivers all day near my job with more than 1 truck...............I guess ground has only 1 truck.
4-They'll keep delivering daily if you keep calling but not on your time.
5-Fedex overnite trucks have CBs but not the ground trucks.
6-Ground has no idea where their trucks are when their out.Yet they get updated info from them.
7-You cant re-route your own package over the phone.
8-Your only get 1 pass because the driver has to deliver other packages on time.
I never had a problem with a company. I almost didnt know how to react. I dont think I will order from anyone using FEDEX again. ...................Thanx for reading this.:happyfish
