feed a larger puffer?

How should I feed a 7" white spotted puffer? I've read everything from 3x per day to every other day. What's a good combination of foods and timing? Thanks.

I feed my 6" porc puffer once a day. This is as much to keep his nipping down as anything. If you see a slight bulge in his stomach, he has had enough.

I also feed my 7" df puffer once per day. I was feeding him twice each day, but my nitrates went through the roof. He ALWAYS looks and acts like he's starving, whether I feed him once or twice though...

i fed my spiney boxfish 2-3 times daily (ok thats how often he eats lol but i feed him purposely once a day he loves the pellet i give my other fish lol
I feed him squid, krill ,silverslides,shrimp,clams,crab legs( once in a while)boneless chunks of fish, scallops,they also love to chew on crushed coral not only keeping the substrate clean but to help file the teeth.
