feeding a anemone

i have a long tentacle purple tip anemone under 250 watt of MH in a 55 gallon tank , do i need to feed it anything else? my black damsel seems to be hosting it, which is wierd because i thought the maroon clown would be the one hosting. Pretty cool actually haha

Hi,
I feed my anenome a piece of krill once a week. that seems to work very well.
I`ve had it for a year and a half now. maroon clownfish hosts it also,the clownfish is 3 yrs old.

damsels are known to host anemones. he/she may be more aggressive than your maroon. and therefore he/she is hosting.
once a week spot feeding is all the extra you need. whether its krill, frozen cubes (ie. prime reef for instance) supermarket shrimp.
