Feeding a Brain...are Formula 1 pellets OK?

I have an open brain coral. I have been trying to feed it a small piece of shrimp twice per week. The problem is that more times then not, a cleaner shrimp will steal the piece of shrimp away from the brain. Filthy cannibal

So recently I have been sprinkling a few formula 1 pellets on the brain. Usually the shrimp eats a few of them, but the brain gets a few too. Are Formula 1 pellets OK for a brain coral?
Thanks everyone.

i wouldn't see why not. i have an amemone that i adopted that has completely lost all it's algae and i've been keeping it alive for about 4 months now just by feeding it formula two pellets and krill once in awhile.

I give them to mine occasionally. (usually flake) but you should try to mince up some other foods like shrimp, squid, whitefish, hake, haddock, or spot feed some smaller stuff like mysis, or daphnia, or cyclops, so the shrimp can grab some, but the brain gets some too.
