Feeding A Carpet

Has anyone had good luck feeding a carpet nem??
Every time i try to feed mine, my black and whites that both live in the carpet, they attack my feeding stick and chunk of krill or silver slider. If i do get the chunk of food onto the carpet, the clowns attack it, and remove it from the carpet, and spit it out onto the sand. Same thing happens when i use a turkey baster and mysis .
Any one have any ideas??

try turning off your lights and then feeding ur carpet

This is what I do...
First feed the fish then feed the anemone.
Have some one on the other side of the tank feed the clown fish while you feed the anemone.
I some times have a big silverside for them to nibble on while I feed my carpet anemone.
cut up the silverside in several pieces. Then if the clowns pull some away, the anemone might have a chance to eat some.
You have to distract them some how.
