Feeding a eel

I have read on the board that most people feed their snowflake every other day, the one I picked up about 1 week ago wants to eat every day, I guess the question I am trying to ask is how do you know when they have had enough? Thanks for the info in advance.

We offer our snowflake eel food every night, usually about once a week he dosen't eat, if he's hungry he comes out when he see us at the tank...Sometimes he reminds me it time for chow, he comes out and looks around like "hay, where are those people that give me good food". You can try it everyday and see what his eating habits are, daily or everyother day. Later Lisa :D

Of my 2 snows the larger one eats every day and the baby one skips a day now and then. I do not force the issue I just put the feeding stick near them and if they ignore it I leave them be (but the big one never ignores it). I feed every day.
