Feeding a Serpent Star

Hello to all!
New to this forum and I have just begun to set up my 1st reef tank. It has recently completed cycling and I just added a couple of corals, a yellow tang, and a serpent star.
Can anyone tell me what I should be feeding the serpent star? Any procedure I should follow?
Thanks in advance and I look forward to learning from you guys as I go along. I have already learned a lot from just reading this forum the last several weeks.

Welcome:) , I feed mine silversides once a week, they also scavage the tank for bits of food the fish dont gobble up,

YOu can try just about anything, and it is best to keep it varied. Shrimp pellets are actually quite nice because there is a lot of stuff packed in an easy to feed package. Squid, silversides, krill are all good, just make sure the pieces aren't too huge. I also do algae wafers now and then, and small pieces of the compressed flake pellets often sold for tropical fish.
For spt feeding, you can use a wooden skewer, forceps or by hand.

Algea wafers huh? I will try that route also as I have some from my FW tank.
Never thought of those, but I bet they are nutritionally packed.
