You can buy dry seaweed to hang for it, or just use romaine lettuce.
I just take a small chunk of frozen brine shrimp and put it in a few drops of water that have soaked up garlic juice(helps the immune system of the fish). Then i just put it in the tank, and my YT eats it all.

get the seaweed strips they love them at least mine does and a good herbivore flake, the strips give them the vitamines to keep thier color, i give brine shrimp every now and then as a treat they love them as well.

yeah, a yellow tang will eat just about anything, mine had gotten so used to romaine, that when I bought the seaweed strips, he did and still does not ravage them like the lettuce.

Tangs are herbivores, try giving him nori or some other variety of seaweed. Frozen Brine shrimp have no nutritional value.
