feeding and equipment question

should you feed with everything off (filter, power heads, etc), or does it matter? Will that eventually run out the motor on the powerheads quicker? thanks!

you should only do that if there is a fish in your tank that is having a hard time getting to the food before the others and is at risk of starving. this could be the case if you have a seahorse in a comunity tank, or a special case that is just slow. i dono about it burning out powerheads faster, but my guess is that it wouldnt.
