Feeding Anenomes

Is it possible to overfeed an anenome? I have found that my scavengers (crabs, and shrimp) like shrimp pellets. On occasion, my hatian pink tip anenome, gets hold of some of the pellets. After devouring them, a few hours go by and it has a heck of a time expelling the waiste. So I am curious to know if it can be overfed

If anemones are overfed they do expel the waste hours later. They need to be fed smaller peices if they do that.

I am not purposely feeding them. They get a hold of the pellets as the current moves them around the tank. I really can't control that. Will it do them any harm ?
