feeding bursa triger and snf eal

i have a4 inch bursa and a 6_8 inch snfeal i started feeding them silversides that are frozen thesnf i feed with feeding stick he eats 1 every 2 days is that normal the bursa i was givingfrozen prawn plankton cubes and bloodworms the first time i gave the silversides bursa went crazy he was eating them steadily for about 2 days now he seems like he only takes a bite or 2 hes likes blood worms and prawn but he seems like his appitte is not as much he feeds 1 time daily everything is garlic soaked he looks very healthy and is active is he just picky or maybe only 1 silverside a week is enough cause he is not so big its my 1st trigger what else can he eat i thought they had ravonius appatites or will he stop eating when full and needs large varity or could he not like silversides my snf has trouble finding the prawn or cubes unless i feed with tongs could that be bothering trigger he seems to back up when he sees the tongs coming sometimes he comes to eat from tongs but i dont want to tong feed fish and eal should i loose tongs and let eal fend for himself any advise would help just trying to find best way to take care of my boys there my favorites out of all my fish in my two tanks

first i have to say how long have you had the trigger? sometimes the trigger might be timid to new objects and in this case it's your tongs. If he's new then i would still use them and try feeding the bursa the silversides trying to get him used to the tongs also. Another thing is check your water quality and the health of the fish. I say this just because initial signs of a sick fish can be the slowing of feeding especially of a usually rambonxios feeder like triggers.
