Feeding Chainlink eel?

I have an agrressive set up and I've reciently added a small chainlink eel. I have had him for about a week and he has yet to eat. I have some real sneaky fish that will hide around my rock work and snatch the squid off the feeding stick. Should I take him out and put him in QT? My grouper and putffers seem to enjoy the extra food but I want this eel to establish himself.
Any ideas?

Give him time. I bought a SFE about 3 weeks ago and still up to today he is just now starting to take. You may have to try and feed him at night with the lights off. Thats what I have to do.

Hi:
you'll have to stick feed this guy, and i would start by seeing if he'll eat live foods, like little fiddler crabs, hitchhiker crabs or ghost shrimp.
Unfortunately you should wean this guy over onto prepared foods in a seperate tank w/ NO competiton, and once its eating prepared foods via a stick, then you can get him back into the tank.
The problem is your other fish won't let him eat in peace. these eels use smell to find food and have real poor vision, so the food has to literally hit them in the face.

Thanks for the advise. He will be moving to QT when I get home tonight. I'll stick feed him for a while and when he's ready I'll send him back. Thanks. JP:)
