I read a great piece of advice on this board a couple of days ago.
Unless it grows in the ocean, there is no reason to feed it to your fish. It only stands to reason that chicken liver is not part of a fish's normal diet. There are too many good options of food to give your lion fish (krill, silversides, etc), why would you risk feeding it something it would never come across in nature?

i feed different kinds of fish food besides i dont think chicken liver would hurt fish anyway because dont people fish with it i could give it 2 them as a treat not as a food.

The liver functions to remove things from the blood and typically concentrates alot of the supplements and minerals that are not metabolized by the body. The hormones and vitamins fed to commerically raised chickens might not be good for your fish. There may also be compounds in the liver of a land dwelling animal that simply aren't meant for a fish to eat. You may also introduce unhealthy or unwanted bacteria in your tank. Fish have evolved over millions of years on the food they find in their natural habitat. A fish tank is pretty delicate microcosm of that habitat. The chemsitry of the tank and health of your fish hang in the balance. Why introduce and unknown that you know for a fact would never possibly exist in the healthy diet of a fish.
The simple question is why would you want to do it in the first place? Do you have a surplus of chicken liver you need to get rid of? I recommend flouring it, wrapping it in bacon, frying it and eating it yourself.
Its your tank, and your decision, and there may be no ill effect at all. But why chance it?
