Feeding Clown Gobies

Hello all,
I have been searching the BB, and can't find a definitive answer. So....
What is everyone feeding their Clown Goby?
I have tried a number of different foods for my guy, but he just sits there and watches the food go by.
He's got a invert belly, yet swims around actively. He has been this way for over a week, every since I got him from the LFS.
Ideas?

Try soaking food in garlic additive to entice eating. I dont have experience with a clown goby, but I do have a yellow watchman goby. He was prety picky about eating at first too. I started off with mysis, then switched to a combination of flake, brine, cyclopeeze, and squid. He eats just about anything now.

Part of the problem with the clown goby is that his mouth is so small. I had a yellow clown goby and I got him to eat frozen brine shrimp (not the brine shrimp plus). If he ignores that, then I might try baby brine shrimp. I think he should eat that.

Go with the cyclop-eeze in the small powder-like form. That stuff spreads all throughout the tank when you use even a small amount and my clown goby would just levitiate above the rock he was perched on and chop down on that stuff!

Cool, thanks everyone for the information!
I have tried mysis, brine, baby brine, live brine, (all tried soaked in garlic), will be picking up some Cyclop-eeze for him.
Question: Is there any difference between the dry vs. the frozen bar?

I have both, but freezer bar is probably better nutritionally. It's what I use unless I run out and can't get to the LFS right away. :jumping:

I am under the belief that this food is good for corals, pods, etc.?
Or am I wrong? I would really like to know if this is good for pods, as I am trying to increase my pod count.

Yes to the above. It's small size and high nutrition makes it particuarly useful when dealling with smallanimals. However, my larger fish also go after it with gusto.

Thanks everybody for the replies.
I dropped in some dry cyclop last night, my chromis went nuts! Like it was candy for them!
Not too much got around the clown goby, but he at least took a slight interest to it. Still didn't come out and eat, but maybe I change up the feeding patterns a little to see if I can get so more towards him.
I'll try and soak some dry in garlic, and then turkey baster a little in his general direction. Hopefully this helps.
Thanks again!
