Feeding Coral?

Do you need to feed a bubble coral with spot feeding and if yes what is the best diet?

Thanks Kip, would krill be ok to feed it and how often? I just got a Hammer the other day so where exactly do i place the food on him. What other corals need feeding?

all LPS need to be fed, most softies dont have mouths, and SPS have a bagillion little polyps to eat with

brains have mouths :yes: it's right in the center, at night their feeder tentacles usually extend, just put some food on the tentacles and watch it eat

I add phytoplankton on a daily basis. How much of that does the corals pick up?

depends on how many coral u actually have, and it's difficult to say. i dont think LPS would pick up as much as the soft and SPS coral
