Feeding Coral

Ok...
Don't mean to ask dumb questions, but here goes.
It has been identified that I have astrangia in my tank, and I am slowly working toward a reef tank. Theoretically astrangia is the first coral in my tank. Running MH lights so I am all set. In the post about astrangia, it was stated to feed it when the tentacles are extended.
Can someone explain how to feed the corals so when I get there I will know what to do.
Right now, the only think close I have is some zoo's that hitch hiked on some LR that I bought.
Thanks for the help.

I just seen your earlier post. I am not sure, cause I never had one, but the tricks of the trade are either a turkey baster or tongs, depending on how large the food is you feed. Find out what it needs to survive and then use either of the options. HTH :D
