Should be getting CUC from SWF tomorrow, new tank, cycled, never put any food in tank, live rock, live sand, Should I feed anything to the CUC when I get them or just let them work in tank. Probably will not have any other fish put in for 2 to 4 weeks. Thanks you guys are great.

If there is algae in the tank, don't worry about it. Even if there isn't I really don't think you need to feed them, they will find their own meal, that IS why you put them in there

If you do not have algae in your tank now (and don't worry, it is guaranteed to come!
) you should feed the CUC lightly IMO. In an established tank, there is always some type of algae, excess food, and fish poop that a CUC will feed on. They don't need a lot of food, but they do need some food so feed them just a little bit. Be careful though, overfeeding is something that almost every SW fish keeper does at some time, especially when just startiing out. Feeding time is when all your tank inhabitants are active and fun to watch, but overfeeding, especially in a new tank, can really cause problems with water quality.
Good luck with your tank! How big is it and what plans do you have for it?

90 gl FOWLR tank, hope to move to some coral later on after it is established, have done fresh water most of my life, over 50 but this is first attempt at salt, always thought it would be too tough, but what the heck you only live once. Took down last tank about 3 years ago after 2 years of power outages that killed all my African Cichlids on 2 separate occasions, loved the cichlids though, lots of fun but lots of money to lose. Got frustrated but had to get another one in house. Thanks Guys
